Hire The Right Marketing Talent Without Costly Recruitment Mistakes
There comes a stage in business growth where outsourcing is no longer enough. The business has grown. Internal systems are becoming more complex. Marketing execution is increasing. Daily coordination becomes more demanding. And eventually, businesses begin needing internal support.
At this stage, many business owners begin thinking: It is finally time to hire. But this is where another expensive problem begins. Because most businesses do not know how to hire marketing talent properly.
They know they need support. But they do not fully understand what roles the business actually needs. So naturally, hiring decisions become reactive:
And unfortunately, this is where businesses begin making expensive recruitment mistakes. Because marketing departments are not built by simply hiring random talent. They are built through structure.
At WABS, we help businesses build internal marketing teams strategically by helping them recruit qualified marketing professionals already vetted for the role. Because hiring mistakes are expensive. And the wrong marketing hire can slow business growth significantly.
Hiring marketing talent looks simple on paper. A business owner posts a job opportunity. Applications begin coming in. CVs are reviewed. Interviews happen. A candidate is selected. The offer letter is signed.
But what most businesses quickly discover is this:
Marketing hiring is extremely difficult when you do not understand the role deeply.
Most business owners simply hire based on resumes. Or worse, they hire based on affordability. Then frustration begins. Poor execution. Weak strategy. Missed deadlines. Inconsistent quality. Slow growth. High employee turnover. Repeated recruitment cycles. The cost of hiring wrong often becomes far more expensive than the salary itself.
We have designed a structured recruitment process helping businesses hire confidently. The process works in stages.
Every business is different. Before recommending candidates, we first understand exactly what role your business requires. This includes understanding what stage your business is currently in, what responsibilities the role needs to handle, whether the business requires execution support, strategic support, or management support, and whether you need junior, mid-level, or senior-level talent. Because hiring begins with clarity.
Once we understand the role, we begin shortlisting qualified professionals from our internal talent pool. At this stage, businesses receive pre-screened CVs, candidate portfolios, previous work samples, and relevant experience background. Important note: Candidate personal contact details are removed at this stage. This protects the integrity of our recruitment process. At this stage, businesses simply review qualifications and determine whether the candidates match what they are looking for.
Once businesses review candidate qualifications and feel comfortable proceeding, the recruitment process moves to the next phase. At this point, businesses make an initial deposit equivalent to half of our recruitment fee. This allows us to begin candidate practical assessments. Because resumes alone do not prove competence. Practical execution does.
Before businesses meet the candidates, we conduct practical assessments designed around the role you are hiring for. This allows us to test real competence. Depending on the position, this may include assessing content strategy skills, graphic design quality, paid ads knowledge, social media management ability, copywriting capability, brand strategy understanding, marketing execution competency, campaign thinking, and lead generation understanding. Because businesses should never hire based only on CVs. Real capability matters more than credentials.
Once candidates successfully complete practical assessments, we send the shortlisted finalists back to your business. At this stage, businesses can conduct final interviews internally. This gives organizations confidence knowing candidates have already passed technical evaluation before final review. The business makes the final hiring decision. Not WABS. We simply ensure the shortlist contains qualified professionals.
Once your business selects the final candidate and the offer letter is signed, the remaining balance of our recruitment fee becomes payable. At this point, the recruitment process is officially complete. Your business successfully hires qualified talent already vetted through a structured process.
Unlike monthly retainers, this service operates as a one-time recruitment fee.
One Time Recruitment Fee
50% deposit once businesses approve shortlisted candidates and we begin assessments.
Remaining 50% once the final candidate signs the offer letter.
The right hire can transform execution completely. At WABS, we help businesses recruit qualified marketing professionals through a structured process designed to reduce hiring mistakes and improve confidence. Because growth requires the right people. And the right people should never be hired through guesswork.
Hire Better. Scale Better. Grow Better.
